Kai Is Five Months Old!
I first intended to post a three-month web page. Then four months. Then it reached five months. Such is the nature of parenting two boys! But, I've finally found the time to share more about Kai.
Kai is one happy baby. He smiles a lot, he laughs, and overall he just seems to be loving life. He especially loves his big brother - Aidan absolutely dotes on his little brother. It warms the heart.
Kai also is a big boy - at his most recent doctor's appointment he was around the 90th percentile on some growth measures. I didn't actually need the percentiles, my shoulder told me all I needed to know about how big he is getting. To get an idea of how quickly he's growing, check out his Bear Chair page.
He's becoming more engaged with his world, playing with toys we give him, looking all around him. In the next few months he'll become mobile, so we'll get to see where his curiosity takes him. He has a lot of energy, it seems, so I expect it to take him far. I only hope we can keep up!
